There are three colours that would effect a breeder. 

Blue - keeps the birds calm, reduces the feather pecking

Red - increase food intake, enhance egg production, activates movement and accelerates sexual development

Green - increase growth rate at an early age

In 3000k LED tube's color spectrum, it output a good amount of these three colours, with red being the dominate colour
